308's pantry has been open since 2016. Through our partnership with food bank, we have been able to provide over 2,000 families with fresh produce, frozen protein, canned fruits and vegetables, dairy products, as well as grains. During the pandemic, we are able to provide food at our front door to all families in need. Now sponsored by the Brooklyn Nets and the Hospital for Special Surgery, the pantry will come complete with a nutrition program featuring monthly recipes from some of the NBA team stars. Through the nutrition program, the Nets and HSS will release a recipe card each month featuring ingredients and steps to make a Nets players favorite recipe. The cards will include ideas for  healthy snack pairings from HSS nutritionists and a physical activity suggestion from the hospitals physical trainers.
